John Achee in front of his fishing camp; the Bayou Corne sinkhole disaster has turned him into an activist using Facebook to share information with his neighbors. When the Bayou Corne sinkhole opened up on August 3, 2012 a mandatory evacuation was called and many of the towns residents left. Texas Brine drilled too close to the edge of a salt mine causing it to collapse and cause an industrial disaster.
