A man holding a proteset sign at a Take ‘Em Down NOLA rally and march held on June 27, 2020 . The organizers warned the city it had three days left to take down white supremacist monuments now being referred to as monuments to white mediocrity, or else the monuments will come down by unauthorized means- A few hundred people came out to protest against police violence and racial inequality and marched through the French Quarter stopping at monuments on the groups list that it demands be taken down. The organizers explained the historical significance of each statue.
