A pro-monuemnt man in black and yellow shirt was arrested while interferring with the police during a protest in Jackson Square led by the “TakeEmDownNola,” a group pushing for the city to remove Confederate monuments it voted to remove last year. The Andrew Jackson sculpture in Jackson square isn’t one of them, but the group threatned to take it down. The police barricade the monument.
