Jason Jones with a copper wire and a copper pipe he says he can get $30 for that he used a bolt cutter to rip out of a unit in an abandoned housing project on Florida Ave in New Orleans 9th Ward. As the six year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina nears blight remains in New Orleans. Many of the programs to remove blight and help the city recover are federally funded and will face cuts because of the economic decline.
