Texas Brine storage tanks on near the site of the colapsed salt cavern in Bayou Corne. When the Bayou Corne sinkhole opened up on August 3, 2012 a mandatory evacuation was called and many of the towns residents left. Texas Brine drilled too close too the edge of a salt mine causing it to collapse and cause an industrial disaster.
