NOLA Hard Rock Hotel Protest11.jpg

Protesters marching to City Hall to protest that the city is not being transparent about the lack of progress in the recovery process following the collapse of the Hard Rock Hotel. The building recently shifted exposing the torso of one of the workers and a tarp set up to keep it out of view blew away sparking outrage that the collapsed building and workers bodies remain. They Mayor admonished anyone taking pictures of the exposed body and claimed that isn’t what we do in New Orleans. She also claimed a new tarp couldn't be put up, but sure enough one was put up the next day..
